Royalty Management Holding Corp -

Royalty Management Holding Corp (NASDAQ:RMCO) portfolio company Advanced Magnet Lab (AML) has received a $2 million grant from the United States Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to advance its domestically produced sintered NdFeB (Neodymium Iron Boron) permanent magnet technology.

The DLA contract is structured to enable AML to manufacture consistent, fully traceable patented magnets for the US defense supply chain, with a two-year agreement covering supply chain management, alloying, permanent magnet manufacturing, and alloy composition optimization across various magnet grades.

AML is developing novel magnet geometries, including its PM-Uniform and PM-Axial wire-like configurations, designed to improve thermal efficiency and power density in motors and increase the overall efficiency of its permanent magnets.

The company's technologies are intended to reduce American commercial and defense sector reliance on Chinese manufacturing, offering improved production efficiency and superior performance while consuming less energy and employing less environmentally disruptive methods.

"AML has consistently demonstrated that their technologies for magnet production are superior to the current paradigm of available options," said Thomas Sauve, CEO of Royalty Management. "With this grant, we are pleased to see that the United States government has recognized the strategic and commercial value that AML brings to the market and we are excited for them as they continue to execute on their mission and vision."

Royalty Management participates in AML's growth through a convertible debt investment that supports a sponsored research program, from which RMCO receives a royalty on sales of products derived from developed technologies.
