Quantum Blockchain clears Sipiem enforcement hurdle

Quantum Blockchain Technologies PLC (AIM:QBT, FRA:BYA1) said an Italian court ruling has cleared a procedural block in its efforts to recover more than €6 million awarded to its subsidiary in the long-running Sipiem matter.

The AIM-listed company said the Court of Biella dismissed in full a defendant’s appeal challenging enforcement proceedings over a third real estate asset. The decision confirms the validity of the pignoramento immobiliare process started by QBT’s wholly owned subsidiary Clear Leisure 2017 Limited, allowing the judicial sale process to resume.

The property has been valued by a court-appointed surveyor at around €272,600. A court-ordered auction has been set for 21 October 2026, with a minimum offer price of €204,450.

The court also ordered the defendants, jointly and severally, to reimburse CL2017’s legal costs of €5,800, plus statutory additions. The defendants may appeal the judgment by 29 July 2026.

QBT said CL2017 continues to pursue all available enforcement actions stemming from the final judgment of the Venice Court of Appeal, which awarded damages of more than €6 million, plus applicable interest, inflation compensation and legal costs.
