Bradda Head Lithium counts down to Whistlejacket drilling as it secures contractor

Bradda Head Lithium Ltd (AIM:BHL) has secured a drilling contractor for its 2026 Whistlejacket exploration campaign in Arizona, targeting the data needed to support a maiden mineral resource estimate by the end of 2027.
The rig is expected to mobilise by the end of July and begin a programme of up to 20 diamond holes totalling around 3,658 metres. All drilling permits have been secured, while contractors are due to start upgrading access roads and constructing drill pads next week.
The programme will infill and expand mineralisation identified by Kennecott Exploration’s 2023 drilling. Previous intersections included 13.56 metres grading 1.31% lithium oxide, while shallow holes will test pegmatite samples returning grades of up to 3.03%.
Executive chair Ian Stalker said the campaign would improve Bradda’s understanding of the scale and continuity of the mineralised system. The company added that its recent fundraising had positioned it to advance exploration at both Whistlejacket and San Domingo.
"This is another major milestone for Bradda Head as we continue to advance Whistlejacket toward its maiden Mineral Resource Estimate," Stalker said.
"This programme is designed to improve our understanding of the scale and continuity of the mineralized system at Whistlejacket and represents another important step in unlocking the value of a highly prospective hard-rock lithium project in the United States."
