Snail Inc (NASDAQ:SNAL) has announced the launch of three new content releases for ARK: Survival Ascended, including ARK: Genesis Part 1 Ascended, ARK: Tides of Fortune, and ARK: Dragontopia.
The company said it expects to recognize approximately $11 million from its deferred revenue backlog during the third quarter of 2026 in connection with the release of ARK: Genesis Part 1 Ascended.
Shares of Snail were up nearly 14% on Tuesday morning in New York at around $3.49.
According to Snail Games, Genesis Part 1 Ascended brings the original downloadable content to the Unreal Engine 5-powered version of ARK: Survival Ascended. The expansion, which is available at no additional cost to owners of the base game, introduces new environments, creatures and survival challenges, including the return of its ocean biome.
Released alongside it is ARK: Tides of Fortune, a premium expansion that expands the ocean environment into a map-wide nautical setting where players can build fleets, engage in naval combat and explore underwater areas.
The company also announced the surprise release of ARK: Dragontopia, a premium expansion pass focused on a new aerial ecosystem. Snail Games said the expansion will receive additional content updates on July 9 and in October, with a new skyworld map scheduled for release in December.
Snail Games said the three releases are part of its strategy to expand the ARK franchise and increase player engagement through additional content. The company described ARK as a key part of its growth strategy and overall game portfolio.
